Indie game developer Creative Bytes Studios has announced the release date of its new sci-fi adventure game Return to Grace. Return to Grace will release on Windows PC on May 30, 2023, and will allow you to restore an ancient AI while solving a millennium-old mystery. Creative Bytes Studios is known for The Game Awards-nominated team behind The Vale: Shadow of the Crown. In Return to Grace, you will follow the archeologist Adamari ‘Adie’ Ito in the year 3820 A.D. as she is setting on a wildly dangerous mission to uncover what happened to the ancient artificial intelligence known as Grace. Adie has set her goal to get to the heart of why Grace, once renowned as humanity’s most outstanding technological achievement, went dark 900 years ago. She is alone and tackling the journey with a limited supply of resources which could make this Adie’s last journey ever.
Playing as Adie, you will adventure through a retro-futuristic structure located on Ganymede, where she will solve puzzles and unearth clues to get to the bottom of the mystery. The game features a branching story and you will be able to unlock different endings depending on your choices in the game. Adie is also joined by a cast of character Ais who will keep her company throughout the journey. These AI companions will help her in solving puzzles and understand humanity in the game.
Adie and the Ais are fully voiced and in the game, you will hear the voice talents of different renowned voice actors such as Karen Knox (Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate), Athena Karkanis (Suits, House of Cards), Alexandra Ordolis (The Mist, Shadowhunters), and Dick Terhune (Diablo Immortal, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong).
